Are links included in the price?
No. Links are bought separately, from the monthly budget you set, at PlacementAPI's marketplace prices. There's no markup on your own purchases, and your plan never spends past your budget or your maximum price per link. Set the budget to zero and nothing is bought.
How do you make money on the Free plan?
Ship/Scale and PlacementAPI are run by the same team. When you buy links, PlacementAPI earns its normal marketplace margin, and you pay the same price you would buying there directly. That's what lets us offer the full product free when you bring your own keys.
What will my own API keys cost me?
It depends on how many sites and pages you run. You pay Anthropic, PlacementAPI and (if you use it) DataForSEO directly at their usual rates, and you can see and cap that usage in their dashboards. If you'd rather not think about it, Pro includes all of it for a flat fee.
What counts as a site?
Each website you connect counts as one site, whatever its number of pages. Pro includes 5, and each extra site is $19/month.
What does fair use mean on Pro?
Pro includes 300 AI rewrites and 100 link-gap analyses a month, shared across your sites. That's plenty for most portfolios. If you regularly need more, email us, or add your own keys.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Ship/Scale is month to month: no contract, no notice period, no exit fee. Pausing a site stops all its future actions immediately. If you cancel Pro, you keep it until the end of the month you have paid for. Links already placed stay placed, and content changes stay on your site unless you roll them back.
